What is your reaction when you here about something that is ‘FREE’? Will you be interested to know more about the product or instead ignore the keyword there?  This article is going to tell you about 5 facts on customer’s perspective toward a FREE things!

1. FREE CARD = FREE CREDIT CARD

Free card always has been associated with either a loyalty card or a credit card. It is not a surprised that nowadays if people heard the word of ‘FREE’ they might scared and choose to not listen what’s next about the card and judge it as a legit credit card. People has this shortcut in the way of thinking whereby they are actually afraid of things that is given free of charge (detected a safety issue on the card itself) 

 

2. FREE CARD=BUY MORE

Again, people with sceptical thoughts they actually able to notice that those promotion offer that a company has given either through the discount, buy one free one, special occasion sales, etc. At the end of it, those promotional materials are only for the sake of stimulating the buyers to purchase even more. Therefore, they would rather choose for not to having the card, instead of having it but didn’t utilize the card at all.

 

3. Overloaded with card

The usage of the membership card is too mainstream whereby majority of the company has started to launch their own privilege free of charge card to their customer. Bookshop, Restaurant, Clothing, Ice cream outlet and even a movie theatre has their own loyalty card to ensure that customer are going to visit their place more often due to the promotion that they had offered toward member. As for that, girl especially a mother position they tend to have a tons of free card that they have to bring everywhere they go. You wouldn’t be surprise if you are going to meet their purse condition. 

 

4. Privacy Issue Policy

 

There will be always sceptical person whereby they tend to questions about ‘why’ the particular company is willing to give people a lot of benefit. As example, “Is there any hidden reason? Or is it any purpose behind the launch of the card? What’s the benefit of this company by giving us the promotion?” You won’t be surprised by this kind of statement, due to people nowadays has been traumatic with a lot of fraud marketing scheme. Furthermore, some of them will eventually suspect on the personal data gathering purpose and all of their data might not be safe (detected the privacy issue) and lastly without their consent things, such as:  their personal contact and email information might be sold to other company for profit.

 

In conclusion, free things doesn’t mean anything, unless a proper message/pitching has been delivered effectively and that particular free things left a positive images in the mind of the customer.
