The most common part might be due to this reason.  Money to pay their school fee or basic living expenses can be covered by taking this part time job. Economies factors forces them have to take the job for the very essential/basic need. 

 

Meanwhile it is not hard to find that some of them are actually doing the job for the tertiary need which is to cover the upcoming concert ticket from their favourite artist. This type of person is not having any difficulties in their economy part, but just want to gain some additional money for fulfil their additional need.

 

The last type of finance might be the fundamental saving for their future usage as they have the concern after they graduate they have to be independent without using any of the parent money, instead taking out the saving money that has been gained during the part time work. 

 

The most importantly, it believes that the salary for promoter is much more bigger than the usual shopassistant. (do you believe so?)

  • Networking

Some of the promoter would like to gain the experience of being exposed to the real world which soon they are going to compete in. They believe that if taking the job as a promoter it channelled the opportunity to meet up with a lot of people from different background. In short it called as networking. As in real, it is very normal if there is someone gives out their name card for recruitment purpose and even introduces their product. Even their name card might not be used in this moment, who knows that we might need their help in future.

 

Besides the customers, we also have the network among our colleges that comes from different university or college. A better insight on their personal stories and their ambition in life which in future there is a possibilities of collaboration if there is a special interest in between. Getting insight from each other strength and weakness is a two-way learning experience too.

  • Consumer Behaviour

Everyone can be the consumer or customer on a certain product. Sales promotion is really useful to trigger consumption rates on a certain product. However in this case our position has been reversed in another way round which is a promoter. Promoter need to learn on how to craft a persuasive message to customer for successfully buying their product.

 

They have to know on how to give a brief and effective pitch depending on the target audience. It means different target audience has different type of message/SP(selling point) on the product. After gone through the process it believes the promoter should have a basic understanding in countering different type of consumer’s attitude toward their product. 

There are many reasons why people do what they do, as this is because there is something they want to accomplish by doing the certain task.

Therefore this article is going to share about the need of the: 

  • Productive

As times flies rapidly and never come back again, mind set of using time wisely has been established among the youngster promoter that they should done something, especially during their holiday/gap year period. Most of them choose to have a part time job instead of staying at home or hang out with their fellows and wait till the time they finished their holiday season.

They view the job is able to enhance their productive life in terms of doing something and being rewarded through their commission. In fact, this people sometimes can be called as ‘workaholic’ as they are not able to ignore anything and want to take in charge on it.

 

In conclusion, those factors can be the reason of why people are doing the part time job as a promoter. As for information, most of the promoter age range will be around 18-23 years old. Therefore majority of them will be in their tertiary education from various schools that work in weekday and weekend. The most challenging part will be balancing their time (well, this happen to myself). Therefore the next article will be covering on the ‘the search for time management’
